Peter graduated from Brock University with a degree in Kinesiology in 2009. He furthered his education to become a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2012 and joined the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 2013. With over twelve years of experience, Peter has treated clients of all ages with a variety of injuries and conditions including professional and collegiate athletes.
He focuses on identifying the root cause of his clients’ pain and discomfort, creating individualized treatment programs that incorporate techniques such as trigger-point therapy, myofascial release, joint mobilization, stretching, and targeted strengthening exercises.
To address chronic tension and postural issues, Peter has taken additional courses in the NISA technique, a gentle approach designed to release fascial adhesions, improve structural alignment, and provide long-lasting changes to poor posture.
His extensive knowledge of biomechanics and sport-related injuries has also enabled him to work with many junior athletes in sports such as hockey, lacrosse, football, and tennis. He even volunteered on the Medical Team for the 2015 Toronto Pan Am Games.
In his free time, Peter enjoys staying active. He can be found mountain biking and snowboarding on the hills, playing hockey on the ice, and traveling the globe to camp, hike, and scuba dive. Peter is passionate about educating his clients, helping them make informed decisions about their long-term health, wellness, and optimal performance.
