What to Expect

Join Jessica Vance, registered physiotherapist, runner, and tri-athlete, for an engaging workshop on run preparation techniques. This session is designed to help you run smarter, recover faster, and lower your risk of injury. You’ll leave with practical strategies that can be applied to every run, from your daily training to race day.

Key Topics

Preparing to Run

Go beyond simple stretches and learn how to activate the key muscle groups that drive running performance. We’ll cover why these areas matter, how to structure an effective warm-up, and what small adjustments can make a big difference.

Run Recovery

Running stresses the body in specific ways. We’ll show you how to ease muscle fatigue, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery so you can stay consistent with training and avoid setbacks.

Cross Training for Runners

Running isn’t the only way to become a better runner. We’ll explore strength work and low-impact activities that support your training, build resilience, and keep you progressing when mileage alone isn’t enough.
